Looking for a great hangover cure on New Years Day or want to wash away all your sins from 2008? The Cougars traditional dip into English Bay will occur with thousand of other foolhardy Vancouverites at the Polar Bear Swim on Thursday January 1st at 2.30pm. As with past years we will meet at the East side (left side as you face the water) of the main entry area and join with all the swimmers at 2.30. Rumor has it that it could be close to one of the coldest swims on record, so why pass up the chance of missing on a record!
