Near freezing temperatures did not deter the BC Footy players who braved English Bay for the Vancouver Polar Bear Swim. The league was well represented with more than 10 people donning club colours before jumping in the icy water. It was the 10th year BC Footy has been involved in the event.
Clint Joy said despite suffering shrinkage, the swim was a great hangover cure. “It was raining pretty heavily before it started and the water was freezing,” he said. “My member packed up the boys and went home.”
See you next time – if you dare!
